COFFEE + COMMUNITY MURAL

In 2019 I was invited to create a mural celebrating the South Bay coffee community for the annual Coffeepalooza hosted by tōno coffee project at San Jose’s Mexican Heritage Plaza. I drafted the original illustration in Procreate, then hand-painted 27 individual poster board pieces designed to temporarily cover an existing 7x14’ tile wall within the plaza. Elements of the mural pay homage to cafes in the South Bay and tools used in the coffee-making process.
